The22 was founded in 2020 by Aparna Thadani and Lucinda Pasi, with the intention of creating an urban sanctuary, away from the noise and bustle of city life—a space that is calm and tranquil, and dedicated to inner and outer wellbeing. Inspired by the principles of Ayurveda that promote reconnecting ourselves with our environment, at The22, we aim to provide our members with a modern, contemporary and western approach to living in balance and in health.
Through the variety of yoga and free body weight training classes, personalised wellness programs, personal training sessions and experiential events we offer, our goal is to create authentic and inspiring experiences for every individual who steps inside our space—experiences that will allow them to learn, discover and expand their hearts, bodies and minds. We aim to foster an empowered, dynamic and mindful community.
With a career that started in the non-profit sector and moved into finance, yoga and wellness has always been a constant in Aparna’s life. Finally making the shift into the industry, Aparna is an RYS-200 hour certified vinyasa flow and prenatal yoga teacher. She practices a unique blend of yoga incorporating vinyasa, kundalini, yin and restorative.
Trained in physical education and the motor sciences, Lucinda is an ex-gymnast and personal trainer. She is certified in postural gymnastics as well as for prenatal and postnatal courses.
