At The22, we offer an extensive variety of movement classes, designed to encompass all facets of body movement and enable members to experience something different every day. Beginners right through to the most experienced yogi are welcome to join our yoga classes, that range from Vinyasa to Yin, and meditation. We run pilates classes and body weight training sessions, such as circuit, flow and endurance training.
Hatha yoga embodies all physical yoga practices that use asana, or movement. Our classes include are a dynamic mix of postures held for a few breaths designed to stimulate and awaken body and spirit. A regular hatha practice has immense physical and mental benefits; strength, calm and balance.
Our meditation and pranayama classes are attached to our yoga asana classes, allowing students to benefit from the physical practice before moving into a quieter space for the internal work to continue. We take our members through various meditation techniques to provide them different tools to find calm and rejuvenation.
The practice of Vinyasa is the alignment of movement with breath. Our Vinyasa classes are active, creative sessions that allow members to try new postures and expand their practice as we take them through different sequences. Each pose is typically held for one breath, creating a flow of continuous movement.
The practice of Yin is the art of letting go and tuning in. Students hold postures for at least 1 minute and reduce muscular tension to allow complete relaxation and an opening of the body. This is not necessarily an easy practice, but the benefits are ten-fold. Restorative yoga is a more relaxed practice. It is the complete release of muscular tension, using props to completely support the body and promote deep rest.
Asana Circuits combine The22 co-founders methodologies of functional strength training with yoga postures. The class focuses on a specific posture, or specific body parts, and has a workshop aspect to the class. Conditioning for the posture is done primarily in circuit training while using yogic postures to achieve not only strength and endurance but flexibility and length at the same time. Students are encouraged to expand their physical and mental potential, reaching new heights in body and mind.

Our barre and pilates classes are designed to work the body while toning, strengthening and stretching the body. We focus on spinal articulation, core strength and muscle toning, allowing our members to feel stronger, fitter and lighter.
Our free-body-weight training classes have been designed by trainer Andrea Baldi. He has been trained in martial arts, tacfit and flowfit. His classes blend these modalities to create a training system that works the body in different ways, allowing fluidity of motion, strength, cardio and functional training. Prepare to be physically challenged and to see your body change after just a few sessions.
Our circuit training classes are designed to push members’ muscles to their limit using functional, simple exercises in repetition – with the option of adding weights. These tough sessions build strength, endurance, and flexibility.
